Abstract

Over the years of independence, a sufficiently developed two-tier banking system has been created in Uzbekistan. At the first level is the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, whose activities are carried out on the basis of a special Law "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan", and the second level is formed by commercial banks. Currently, they include state, joint and private banks.
