Abstract

In foreign countries, in companies with dispersed ownership of shares, acquisitions occur already at the beginning of the XX century. The main reason for this is the liquidity of the securities market, which means the actual separation of ownership and management, and such phenomena took place at the beginning in the USA and to a somewhat lesser extent in the UK. In the 80s and early 90s of the XX century, many scientists argued that this does not threaten European and other countries where ownership is more concentrated. However, as the facts show, acquisitions are now becoming global in nature. Therefore, there is an objective need to study these processes and their legal regulation.
